Would building a lightning rod work. In older days, people built them out of a metal that conducted electricity, and when the lightning strikes it is forced into the ground. If that thing is lightning that might work. Good thing I always hide a giant lightning rod hidden in my invisible bag of goodies. Do I have permission to set it up, O great leader of my squad?

 

[Deleted]

For a brief moment thoughts flood through Danner's head, about the explosion. About his friends back at the wall.  About the safety of his companions with him. But quickly snaps out of it. As his primary concern was the mission.

"Ok! It's decided!" Says Danner. "We keep pushing forwards to Node C!
Move quickly! And watch each other's back! As it'll surely get more dangerous from now on! LET'S MOVE!"

The wall collapsed! *Gasp* I hope the good people are all okay! I catch up with King Danner.

As I try to pull my lightning rod out it snaps and breaks. Oh poop. Now what? Maybe somebody can use a spell that can put it back together. Another idea that I heard from my dad, is that somebody could use a spell to make a tree grow to be giant to use as a makeshift lightning rod.

 

[Susan]

Oh my, Prince! How unfortunate that the lightning rod snapped!

No matter, your suggestion is sound! We can repair the lightning rod with earth's power.

Spirits of the Earth, please aid us once more!

*The earth rises and fuses with the lightning rod, creating a large conduit on top of the earth barrier to attract the incoming lightning*

There we go, Prince! Let's hope this works!

Caz maintained a gormless expression of clueless gratefulness and merriment as the magic barrier she had just set up vapourised around her. She patted herself down to ensure that she too had still remained a mostly solid, in tact mass.

She squinted around, trying to pinpoint her squad members in the blaze.

"Looks like the Booty Brigade got that nasty lightning thing covered.." she tapped her chin and called out to her teammates who she doubted were even in range anymore, "Let's clear some rubble and get that wall back up, guys!"

WALL CELIANNA SQUAD​

 ​

The squad decided to go on. When all of a sudden a storm started brewing. ​

Quickly they run towards their destination. ​

The Temple of the Ancients.​

WALL SHAZ AND LUNAREA SQUAD​

 ​

While Squad Shaz's mending the walls, the Lunarea Squad attempted to attack the mysterious being with spells.​

The object shifts its appearance!​

 ​

HP: 5000/5000​

ATK: 1300 DEF: 1500​

 ​

An Ancient is now attacking the walls!​

The Sword of the Ancients! A SINGLE BLOW from that being will kill anyone!​

It's time for a strategic defense before it destroys all three walls.​

 ​

INSTRUCTIONS​

Discuss how you wish to approach the being.​

Select a few members to attack while the others mend the walls.​

Your attack effectiveness are going to be calculated and decided by the narrator, for now RP to your best.​

You can still set traps if you wish, you can attack directly but remember there is a chance you can be KO'd.​

[Silent Darkness]

I'll crush this fool! Susan, Scythuz, Marimo, you're with me!

Silent Darkness used the Titan Wand to unleash a power blizzard upon the Sword Titan, freezing it's armor solid. He quickly set more explosive traps for the Titan to wander into. He then quickly prepared a surge of electrical energies.​

 ​

MELT HIS ARMOR! SUSAN, GO!!

 

[Susan]

All right, Silent Darkness! Way to go!

Scythuz! Let's combine our fire power and break his defenses!

Oh, Spirits of Fire! Lend me your power!

*An aura of fire builds up surrounds the shrine maiden. When it reaches the highest intensity, she unleashes it towards the Ancient*

Now, Scythuz! Go!

 

[Silent Darkness]

To strengthen further attacks against the Ancient, Silent Darkness let loose with a powerful Red Aura, to boost the power of his friends' attacks!​

 

[Scythuz]

A huge roar erupted from the dragon and soon a massive pillar of flame engulfed the titan.

It's tenacious assault broke the bonds of the titans armour; leaving an immense gap in the sword titan's defences.

However, the battle was just beginning....

 

[Silent Darkness]

Silent Darkness raised his arms up vertically, and let loose the magic he was charging. A powerful blast of lightning zapped the Ancient. He followed up by switching over to his projectile weapons, and firing off several Flame Grenades through the open gaps in the Ancient's armor, ripping into it's hide, then unloading a full clip of Megacannon ammo into the Ancient, aiming for vital parts.​

 ​

[marimo]

Marimo wakes to when the vibration of a great roar drops a small decently sized brick into her stomach. OOF. WHO. WHAT. When...where and why was anything happening?

Gingerly picking herself up from the rubble all around her. She sees a lone blond struggling to repair the wall while the rest seemed...to be attacking what is possibly more terrifying than fixing a wall. There really wasn't much contest, but she supposed that she'd have to back her squad up some. 

Covering the ground beneath the ancient temporarily with a very slimy moss like substance with a wave of her wand, she staggers the Ancient for a limited time. Watching it do minor damages to itself as it trips, because it's just really that large and you know what they say about large things falling. "Well, that should have bought them SOME time." She waves at her squad from behind. "I'm going to be helping with the wall repairs for the while! Do your worst best!   "

She rushes over to where the young soldier was dutifully stacking the wall's remains to help. It's more of a struggle for her than it is for this girl...but every bit helps right? "Ugh. Guard the wall they said. It'd be easier they said."

 

[Silent Darkness]

Silent Darkness took the Titan Wand back out, and cast another spell, summoning a globe of raw magical energy. He let out a yell, and the orb emitted a powerful laser beam that cut deeper into the Ancient, going through the gaps in it's busted up armor. When that had expired, he switched back to the Multi-Launcher, and stuffed Ultim into the barrel before shooting him straight at where the Ancient's heart should be.​

 

[Susan]

Oh, Ultim. Your time is well-served here. We appreciate this self-sacrifice of yours.

In the meantime, I'll raise another barrier to to deflect the Ancient's strike.

*Raises a wall of earth above the defending squad members*

Phew! That was hard!

By the way, have anyone seen Lady Candacis? Last I saw her, we were setting up her shop.

EVENT CONTINUATION​

The beast roars in agony from the flurry of attacks.​

It seems that before it can even move from its position from the front gate, it has been vanquished!​

The ancient fell. ​

 ​

"Is it over?" everyone wondered. Waiting for a few moment's notice, nothing appeared.​

It seems that the beast wasn't as tough as they thought.​

 ​

Sealing Crystal x1 Obtained!​

 ​

A REACTION HAS OCCURRED!​

Divinity: 8000/9999​

 ​

Ralph's Divinity has decreased! While it is not much, we definitely need to go faster!​

Is this a time of reprise for Shaz and Lunarea Squads? Maybe it's time to fix that wall!​

Or so they think.​

 ​

From the carcass of the guardian, the ethereal sword appears once again.​

The Sword of the Ancients​

 ​

It seems like nothing will affect it as long as it's in ethereal form. What should you do?!​

The sword shined brightly! But what's this?​

 ​

The Crystals of Gaea​

 ​

It seems that the sword summoned these crystals!​

The crystals shines brightly which causes a shockwave that shook the earth. ​

It seems to be...summoning even more crystals!​

There's no clear indication when the next shockwave will happen. If it does, Wall Celianna's front gates will be destroyed!​

It seems that the shockwaves could at least be stopped by destroying the crystals.​

 ​

INSTRUCTIONS​

Hah.......hah.........guh...........phew......................that......was still too close.....

Silent Darkness looked at the crystals, and sighed. He put down more traps near the Red Gaea Crystal, and drove a powerful Ice Spear into the gem.​

 

[Susan]

Oh, what's this?

*Picks up a small crystal from the ground*

It looks special. I think it may be one of those rare Sealing Crystals I've read about.

I'll keep it safe for now, in case we need it.

*Tucks the crystal safely away, and turns to look at the mystical shape above her*

What is this thing? How can we destroy it?

 

[Silent Darkness]

Destroy these crystals! They must have something to do with that lightning sword bearing down on us!
