Hi all, I'm making an open world rpg, and I want to implement a weapon evolution system, something like for example a knife evolving to an elemental sword, and I also want the protagonist to evolve at each boss he defeats, like taking their powers, changing also he's form.

Can anyone tell me or help me on how to make it?

Depends on what circumstances you want evolution to happen by, really. There are a number of scripts that can add functionality like this, but which ones are best for you will be influenced by what kind of system you want.

As far as evolving via boss defeat goes, you can do that in the default system pretty easily using variables/switches.

I see, what about the weqapon evolution system?
To put an example I made a weapon, that I want it to have the ability of changing attributes depending on what upgrades I put on it, for example an ice upgraade would give it an ice attribute, almost as if a magic spell is putted on it.

I'm not aware of any currently-available scripts that add a scene where you could do something like this. The equipment upgrading itself is pretty straightforward and can be done in the default system, it's just the interface for doing so that you'd have issues with.

Theoretically you could achieve it using choice menus and common events, but it'd be pretty clunky.

Well it is a choice for the player, since I want the weapon to be able to change attribute by the players choice.
It's basically a single weapon, but u can upgrade it with certain materials, fo example something
like the Final Fantasy VII materia system.

I have a really hard time keeping all these goodies secret til December... but I swear, it is worth the wait!
Working on a Premium version of my minimap plugin that will have advanced functionalities such as drawing a Terrain map based completely on the users tilesets, whatever they may be, and drawing minimap radar icons automatically based on texture of the event the note is applied to.
