RMMV Character animation 8 directions, walk and run, what plugins to use? and how to set up my sprite sheets?

Good morning everyone, I would like to test a graphical improvement of my character by adding the 8 directions and the walk and run animations...
I have read that it is possible to do this in different ways... but how do you recommend that I do this?
I don't mind at all having 2 sprite sheets for walk and run but I don't know how to set the sprite sheets for the diagonals.

I have identified 3 plugins that can allow me to have thek result I am interested in:
VE_Character Frames ( allows me to use different frames).
Galv_DiagonalMouvment ( enables diagonal movement.
Mog_Charposes.

I don't know if they can be compatible with each other or if there is an easier way to do this without using too many plugins... could you help me find a solution and set my sprite sheets properly?

Galv has a plugin for extra character frames:
There is also a "Mix Demo" on the download page that shows Galv's step sounds, diagonal move, character animations, and extra frames all working together. :kaohi:

Depends on what you want:

If you want to use the 8-directional movement with a "normal" map that uses tiles, Galvs Plugins (linked in SGHarlekins post). Galvs Plugins work all well together and are easy to use. I used them before too.

If you want to use it with "free" maps, I mean for maps that dont have a normal tile layout, then Galvs Plugins won't be satisfying, because they can't use collision maps (you need to draw collision maps to set areas where characters can walk and where not, if you are not using normal tiled maps). In this case, the QMovement Plugins are perfect. I use them in my own project too, because of the collision map integration. But they are not as easy to use as Galvs Plugins, so if you have normal tile-based maps, I would still recommend Galvs stuff.
