I think it's definitely a worthy purchase, Nio. I've used it to make so many sprites already, and I love how user friendly it is.

1) They have Ace and XP-sized sprites

2) I'm not sure I understand this question. Are you asking how many generator parts there are? And btw, you can indeed make faces

3) As far as I can see, the Ace parts are all generator parts taken from Ace engine, or close to it. You can even import your own generator parts. I don't see many modern or sci-fi generator pieces.

4) The one thing I like about the Hub is that you can easily change the style and colour of the hair, eyes, and armour/clothing pieces to make infinite characters at the press of one or two buttons. You can also make quite decent faces! You can also edit the pixels in a basic pixel editor. A basic tutorial is included.

Isn't the Steam midweek sale over soon? You better get it while the Game Character Hub is at that price! XD

Having just got it myself I can tell you it is quite handy. And with some tinkering I was even able to edit the new tilesets I got with it for Ace.

Right now it costs 3,74 Euros in Steam, today is the last day of the steam sale. I can only recommend it.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
