Okay, so I was browsing the RPG Maker website after redownloading my RP Maker VX Ace Program and sending a request for new activation key. And I saw Game Character Hub. Now it looks [at least from what I can see without buying it] like something that could help with my Spriting problems.

But I wanted to ask a few questions about it before I go ahead and buy it.

1) The option to add in custom Sprites. does it make it compatible with the VX Ace system? Since mine technically aren't from any normal RPG Maker system.

2) The little animator that shows how things look when moving, if I needed to fix something, does it have an option to fix that problem within the program itself (as in I can move where a Sprite is aligned / placed within the sheet], or would I be forced to open up the original art file on Paint.Net, correct it, and reload it. For however many times it takes to get it set properly?

and

3) does it have a way for it to auto correct Sprite positions (as well as handle 8 Directional Sprite sheets)? Since if it had a way to fix, or help me align my sprites properly, that'd be a godsend.

Edit:

Also does it have something that allow things like Modern Algebra's multi-framed sprite set up to work? Or would it not be able to handle more than the normal 3 X 4 setup?

Just in case, if you purchase it on steam, do not open any other rpg maker application while the character hub is downloading.

On #4) Like what kind of work arounds would I be looking at? Also that's amazing, it's going to save me so many headaches being able to move sprites around on the program rather than delete old file on RPG Maker VX Ace, alter png file. Reload, save, test play, headdesk when things aren't working. Repeat. And with it autoaligning everything, I will save so much time.

I'm going to be getting it off the Enterbrain website. Would I still run into the same problems? Or would I be all good to go?

Not with Modern Algebra's script. Within the Character Hub there isn't auto-aligning set-up. You'll have to move the sprites by hand. Luckily there's a preview window that can show you if you made a mistake aligning the characters and you can either move the entire sprite sheet or just individual pieces or frames.

That's a really useful feature. Thanks ^_^, I just bought it (and the "second story" dlc). Hopefully this'll make my spriting a whole lot easier ^_^.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
