RMMV Character Hue

hello, I'm looking for character hue changer. I found one for battlers, but I need it for characters. @Tome571 made one for events/charas, but there is no option to change the hue of "this" event, and it's applied for all the events with changed hue, I wanted it to change for single events. Anyone?

In that thread, there's an explanation of why this is normally done by creating a different sprite of that hue and replacing the sprite in the game, rather than applying a hue; is there a reason that won't work for you?
