@ATT_Turan That's a bit weird, you usually either just install git and use the command line, or add another program that will allow you to use a graphical interface for it. I'm not sure why would a tutorial suggest apparently doing both xD
Granted, the utility on a single-person project might not be always be worth the learning curve, but it's not that bad, and it is really useful for more code-heavy projects.

Unfortunately I don't think if I can test how exactly does this limit work without causing quite a bit of spam somewhere. But it definitely doesn't seem to be working correctly.

My guess is that it checks after auto-formatting? The BBCode for the user-linked version of @ATT_Turan is [user=41930]@ATT_Turan[/user], i.e. +19 characters.

That explanation would make sense. And if that's the case, then my site feedback is for it to please not do that
