Character Lore page?

So when we open up the pause menu and go to a character's equipment, is it possible to add in a lore option?

Yanfly's Status menu can (sort of) achieve that in character status page. 

But if you are looking for a lore option that opens a new window and has character portrait + biography/lore, then you probably need something else.

Yeah that is what I'm looking for, as a small description isn't exactly what I want to give. :/

Okay so I put it in but I got this error message:

Scripy 'Biography' line 26: NoMethodError occured.

undefined method '[]=' for nil:NilClass

delete these lines:

imported = {} if $imported.nil?

$imported[“Soul Engine Ace – Character Profile”] = true

That was what the author said when people have problem with line 26.

Not sure if that will fix it, but I suppose the author should know best.

Did you start a new game after adding the script? That kind of error is typical when you save a game, add a script, and try and resume the saved game.

I tested it myself. It happens even before you reach the Title page.

So you have no choice but to remove / comment out those 2 lines.

lol - no. I didn't look closely enough at it before, but now that I have, he's made a typo.


He calls it imported on one line, and $imported on the next. Just change the first one to $imported as well, which is what it should be (and if that is his suggested fix on the other site, you can tell him what he's done wrong).

Actually, I'm working on a new project, my first one is finished already, and I wanted to get some useful scripts before starting on anything else.

Yeah, I noticed, thats why I made the change when i tested the script on my new map

I didn't realize it when I first quoted him lol

Soulpor's Biography script has some compatibility issue as well, though I haven't get a chance to look into it since I have no interest in biography page atm.

It is probably one of Vlue's script... but meh, that's for some other time lol
