    Description: We just recently moved to a side view battle system for our game. In it, you play the classic villain from all the old RPGs but we find ourselves limited on which monsters you can encounter and fight due to the fact that the system does not allow for the use of battlers. Now, normally, this wouldn't be a problem since a lot of what you'll fight will be humans but when it comes to one of the origin stories and a certain subset of alchemists with the power to "hulk out" we find ourselves without the right characters to fill the void. For the alchemists, we need something along the lines of Mr. Hyde or the Hulk. But for the Warlock Origin, things are a bit more twisted. In the Warlock Origin, the players start out as good guys working for the mage's council to investigate some old ruins under a mountain. Millennia ago, the first mages of the Council sealed away a powerful entity that was created after the area had been used for centuries to sacrifice innocents to the gods in order to receive their blessings. This entity has a habit of using magic to rebuild the bodies of its followers, twisting them into monstrosities and granting them power. Warlocks, themselves, have three forms based on which power set they want to use. Now, for these creatures they need to be grotesque (think Tzimisce fleshcrafted monsters from VtM: Bloodlines). The Warlock forms should be equally grotesque but match their growing power with each form (The Servant, The Sacrificed, and The Ascendant).

    So, what we need is three base monsters that are found in the ruins: A bipedal fleshy monster that would look like some kind of mouth with legs, a twisted man like thing similar to the Las Plagas creatures from Resident Evil 4 but obviously from a fantasy realm and more of a priestly vibe, and a hulking flesh golem. Then we have a hidden boss: a priestly like monster that uses a normalish looking child as a lure to draw people in, and Aixethre, The Sacrificial Lamb: a mass of flesh, tentacles, eyes, and mouths, the thing is ancient and was created using millions of sacrifices and their deaths forged into a creature of pure evil and alien intelligence.

    Then we need Two forms for the Warlock (We're using the robed male and female from the Dark Hero DLC for them for a starting point): The Servant would just be their normal sprite, but the Sacrificed would be some sort of meshing of them and the priestly monster while The Ascendant should be a smaller version of the Sacrificial Lamb with hints of the original sprite.

    Now, a lot of this is negotiable and a lot of it should be left to the artist because I want to find a unique look for the game as well so feel free to add your own spin on it all (we just do not want something cartoony.)

    Regular 4 direction, the system we're on doesn't utilize additional poses and even if it did I'd have to remake every character with a new sprite to accommodate anything extra which would be a lot of time and energy spent on it that may not be necessary yet.
