Character Stucks and Background twice?

Hello community

I'm new here and i hope we are going to have much fun. I'm starting with a problem, i hope you can help me.
so i followed the "RPG Maker MV Parallax Mapping tutorial" by Fallen Lorelei
on Youtube but it is not working as it should. following things happens to me.

1. my Character stucks in the middle of the screen ( there is a Black zone) and cant move. even when i put him into another field.
2. my Background is repeated. it's available on the upperscreen and then on the ground

Then you didn't follow the tutorial. You missed at least two requirements of parallax mapping, either because they were skipped in that tutorial or because you didn't watch it often enough.

I strongly suggest you go to one of the written tutorials about parallax mapping here on the forum, print it out and then compare step by step everything.

Now to your errors:
1) means that you didn't set passability correctly.
That depends on which of the three methods for passability you're using, but something went wrong there.
2) that means that the size of your parallax is too small for the map you made.
It is an absolute requirements that the parallax picture has to be the same size of the map in Pixels. If you're seeing the parallax twice it is only half the required size.
Map size in tiles multiplied by tile size in Pixels is the required number of Pixels for the size of your parallax picture.

I think you didn't set up you region ID correctly. 16:00 is where Fallen Lorelei starts talk about this part.

2: Like @Andar said, this part is state at the beginning of the tutorial video part 1 by Fallen Lorelei. Go over it more carefully.

by the way. everything is working now it was a mix of some options and i forgot a plugin ...
