I spent some time taking apart the default TV sprites from the Generator.
The parts should fit together without changing the shape of the sprite if you layer them as in the attached Gimp files.
Why did I do this? It was a bit of Grunt Work, and I am a newbie, and certainly no artist, so I probably wasted my time, but I think it's going to make creating other animations and tweaks easier, if I have all the pieces separated. I can do things like rotate an arm at the shoulder in Gimp maybe - I dunno we'll see how it looks. I filled in behind things so for instance torso makes sense if you rotate an arm in front of it.
So all the clothes etc that come with MV should work without changes. If you want to move something, you'll have to take the clothes apart ( and draw in the missing parts ) to do eg limb rotation, but the work of taking the limb itself apart is done for you.
For instance, if there's a shirt and pants, you'll have to separate the shirt from the pants and the sleeves and the pant legs into diffrent layers, and draw in the missing parts of the pants that were covered by the body, and covered by the bottom of the shirt before they will become rotatable.
Anyway here's my 'Ken and Barbie' all taken apart.
These are edits of the base MV resources and they are free to use in RPGMaker games both non commercial and commercial.
