so in my previous game i made i had no issue with a character going ex. through a gate, he goes under it no problem tested that my high fantasy characters can do it same situation with same tilesets BUT for some reason i do the exact same thing * on the high fantasy tilesheets on B-E like the forest or behind statues, but on these tilesets they don't go ''under'' technically they do but the characters themselves become slightly transparent instead. and mostly just wondering why that happens.

most likely you have added a script that changes the functionality like that.

Such a script is absolutely neccessary for the effect to look even halfway "natural" and if I remember correctly one such script was even included in several of the HF-Packs for that reason. Without that script, the larger sprites tend to bleed through the tiles in the wrong positions if you don't know how to prevent that by mapping, and that looks even worse.

Also check if you have the tiles setup with the "bush" passability option in your tileset database

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
