Make sure in the area you're transferring to, there's no auto run events. That stops all movement of the player unless they are directed to move in the actual event.
Or you may have transferred them onto a tile which doesn't allow movement. Such as water, a wall. Or maybe just has no movement allowed on it.
You have not given any information of what's going on, so nobody can really help you.
Yeah sorry about that, I will give you a little information about the issue.
So pretty much, I have my intro at this castle that is under attack and it introduces a follower to you, after receiving this follower all of the events on that map are ended and the player is transferred to a different map during a fade out, as soon as he get's transferred to the next map, you are unable to move him. I should also probably mention that the part where you get your follower is a parallel event.
EDIT: there is not auto run event on the map he transfers to and he is transferred to a trail, it worked last time I tried to move on it, but now it just suddenly changed.
