Character wont appear after switch is ON

Hi,

So I'm making my 1st game and it's an experimental thing, I keep bumping into issues but thankfully with a little search and trials and errors I tend to figure things out. But this issue got me stuck.

I read about it in the forums and I've done what was said, but still not worked for me. It's best to show you screenshots.

So the idea is, a ghost appears then disappears. After that, it appears on a different spot for interaction. But when I play the game, it never appears in the spot after the ghost disappears.

What am I doing wrong? I'm sorry, I'm sure it's not a new issue as I've read similar issues here, but their images have expired and I couldn't get what has solved it for them.

I think that's because the first event ends with "opacity: 0"? It won't reset unless you leave the map, so you must manually set its opacity back to a higher value. I guess.

Where's the spot? You need to set the event in that location manually as they are two separate events it looks like.

Also your first event is eternally running just so you know. You need to add a page 2 to that event, which is set to run when switch 10 is on, and page 2 is blank and set to action button.

I'm sorry for the confusion, yes they are 2 different events. Here's the 2nd event spot, I already chose it:

The 1st event is set in one of the black tiles.

I did as you said and.. well, lol, I don't know what happened. Everything just became a mess :'D

After lots of tries, I decided to put the switch independently on one of the route tiles once the main character reaches it. And it did what I needed. So I guess I solved the problem by changing the approach.

I'll just keep learning and moving, hopefully if I met this problem again I'll be more knowledgeable. :)
