I'm looking to make a chase scene similar to the bear scene in The Witch's House. Skip ahead to 10:10 if you're not familiar with it.
The event I'm trying to set up goes like this: the player unlocks a locker, finds and reads a note, and the chase scene triggers when the picture is erased. I want to make this a one-time event, so the player can go back and look at the picture again without being chased. Here's what I have thus far:
I know I'm going to need the self switch to skip the dialogue and the chase later. I'm just having problems figuring out how to teleport a chasing monster to the immediate area, then cutting off the chase at a door and no sooner or later. Will I need scripts for this?
