When starting a new game, I'd like the player to save manually so to use the autosave (as I understand it won't work unless a save has manually been created...)
In order to do that just opening the save menu isn't enough since the player might not save anyway.
So if there any way to test if a player has saved?

Autosave can be a feature that works perfectly without a pre-existing save file. I don't see why it wouldn't work.

As for your request, it should be possible by simply checking in the save folder for a save file. If I have some time later I'll write the code if you want (unless you prefer the autosave feature).

I would be happy if you could write it, please.
YEP Autosave requires to save manually first otherwise it never bothers autosaving anything (I always thought it was a poor decision especially if like you say it's not a necessity...)
DataManager.saveGame(1); does save automatically but then if you haven't saved manually before it, loading will cause a crash.

You can check $gameSystem.saveCount() it will return the times the player has saved. If it is 0, then player don't save.
Take a look at my autosave plugin and see if it will help you.
Although I don't release the one with Ui version. It only has the feature working and commands.

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
