Chest event conflicting with neighboring event!

Hey,

I have an invisible jumping event with priority below characters, trigger with action button conditioned to when the player is facing left.

Now from this same tile I would like to access my chest event 1 tile down that has same priority with characters and also triggers with the action button.

Right now the chest event just won't trigger from the jumping tile.

Are there any solutions for this type of event conflict in general? Sorry to bother you but google wasn't any help and I'm too tired to think for myself!

That is because the engine has to decide which to run, the jumping tile or the chest tile. What you need to do is not put them side by side. So yes, this means you either need to move your jumping event or your chest event.

you can have different effects based on facing, but only on event triggering per tile.
So you could write that jump event with an additional branch on what to do when the player is facing down instead of left.

But of course that means you can't use a quick event creation chest, you need to code the chest inside that other event.

Something like that crossed my mind earlier. Indeed, I'll have to figure out how to animate the chest opening then.

the same way as the chest event does it - just from another event.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:

Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
