Ok. Read the title for the name of this game.
Chibi Cat and the Hunt for a Cake, or CCatHfC is a non-commercial game made in RPG Maker MV.
There are no screenshots yet, because i haven't even started the mapping.
Plot:
An alien cat named Chibi Cat reads an article in the news about a legendary cake that can be eaten forever. She tells her friend Chibi Dog that she needs that cake instantly. But the cake has a path that is pretty much impossible to find without looking for hints (A.K.A Dried up pieces of written toilet paper) to know exacty where it is. Chibi Cat decides that she must find it another way. But to no avail. What will they do next? Will they get all the dried up pieces of written toilet paper and find the cake? Or give up and go home?
Characters:
Chibi Cat
An alien cat that loves cake and the colour grey. She decides to go find the cake just because she loves cake
She also loves nicknames. And cats. And trees.
Plain
A square. He hates having pointy sticks jabbed into him by math experts. He also has a
strange case of self-doubt, Thinking that him joining the party was a
terrible life choice.
He usually never smiles and is very cynical.
Chibi Dog
An alien dog who is a very old friend of Chibi Cat (even though they only knew eachother for 11 years.)
He's 13 years old, so.... don't expect much
philosophy from him, even though he can cast a mean amount of light.
He almost always has a smile on his face and is
the opposite of plain.
Chibi Bunny
An alien bunny who is Chibi Dog's brother.
He's 11 years old and is somehow smarter than chibi dog.
His healing abilities can whip up a nice batch of freshly-healed teammates.
He is basically the priest of the team.
(Even though he's not religious in the slightest)
Chibi Cat has known him for 5 years.
Meener
One of the mage twins. His form of magic, called "Meegic", uses everyday objects,
(Such as rocks, pots, chairs, and leaves)
The others don't find him magic enough, but deep inside,
he knows that he can cast real magic.
Magor
The other mage "twin".
Like Meener, he can't really use much magic.
But, he can predict what happens to teammates, increase healing power, and a few other things.
He lives in Magira with his brother.
Xavier Sigma
A spoiled prince which treats the team like peasants when they first met.
He's bossy and mean, but get on his good side, and he's a sweet mess.
He loves math, so he changed his last name to Sigma,
and attacks with math symbols.
I need:
Parallaxers (Like light overlays. Not maps.)

Cutscene Animators
Tileset Makers (Only if you've made tilesets before)
Character Developmenters (To make characters more likable. And less cliche.)

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
