Child Sprite?

In my game there is going to be a girl that is about 10-12 years old and I wasn't sure how to go about editing the existing vx ace sprites to make them appropriate for a child. Any advice at all would be wonderful. Thank you all so much I appreciate it

There are already young girl sprites in Ace - are none of those suitable? I don't think you can really "edit" a sprite and make it look like a child, without pretty much redoing the whole thing.

Where would I find these sprites because I haven't seen them? Sorry for taking your time. This is my first game so still pretty new.

If you look through the default sprite sheets, you should be able to find the children sprites.

If you're willing to go through the effort, you could buy RPG Maker XP and transfer its child graphics to Ace. XP probably has 10 or so.

See the thing is that I want one that I can customize, so I guess what I'm really looking for would be a base that I can work off of to create the character's individual appearance.

Amysaurus has a child template, though the child doesn't skip like in the RTP.
