I need a plugin that preferably is able to let you decide the X and Y co-ordinates of a specific choice list via plugin command, not every single on in the game. There's one by Biud436 online but it doesnt seem to work.

I'm suprised on how hard it seems to be to track? Willing to commision someone.

You can do it with SRD's Super Tools Engine.

Edit: You'd need a batch file to call a script from in the game for a specific window, however.

Jgreene are you able to use that without downloading srdude upgrade pack? As lots of his mods require that and it conflicts with others

I don't have the upgrade pack and it works fine. Just get the super tools engine and HUD maker and you might be able to figure something out. Maybe using a conditional switch or variable that moves the window only when you need it to. And the batch file I mentioned may or may not work given that you're changing properties of a window during the game. I know that that kind of thing works for renaming maps/items/characters etc.

It really seems like there should be a much easier way by now.

@Symbol_ Ah, the plus symbol is just a fancy header. Do not include that. Also, the 'ChoiceList' and 'setPosition' are case sensitive.

Code:
ossra ChoiceList setPosition x y retain
ossra ChoiceList setPosition 100 250 true

// Or without the 'retain' option
ossra ChoiceList setPosition 100 250
If that still does not work, press 'F12' to bring up the debugging window and let me know if any error message is there.

@Symbol_ Hmm, alright. The line number the error occurred on would be super helpful. If you could, please copy and paste the text of the error message, or snap a screen shot of the debugging window.

Here you go, pre-emptively say I use an older version of RPG maker MV as the newer ones handle the game differently and such things as the shaders seem to lag the game quite a lot despite me not having a bad computer. It also won't be the orangehud error message causing problems as that's been in there in previous projects with a catalogue of other plugins without causing issue.

Aah, that would be the reason. In the script I used a few javascript functions/features that are not available in the older versions of MV, apparently.

The plugin linked in my previous message has been updated. Re-download that and give that a try. I believe I worked around the issue ... maybe.

We're getting somwhere, your X co-ordinates now do indeed move the choice menu on the horizontal axis, however the Y co-ordinates do not change the positioning of the windows Y position

@Symbol_ Hmm, interesting. Are you using any other message related plugins? Try putting the ChoiceList plugin beneath any message plugin (or all plugins).

Ah now the Y co-ords work thanks, I always assumed I should put it at top, I assumed if the plugin as the top of the list it takes full priority

@Symbol_ Nope! The last plugin on the chain performs the last action. Another plugin was over-writing the Y value, apparently. Also, I guess I need to re-write some of my code so that older versions of MV can use them.

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
