Greetings,

I am looking for a plugin that would help me bring up a menu with the Script or Plugin Command from an event.

The menu should allow the player to choose one of several item packs.

The menu should have a help window at the top (two or three rows), and the rest of the screen is just two columns.

The left column would have all the item packs available, and the right column should list all the items included in the pack that is currently being selected.

The player should be able to look at each item in the right column individually (the help window at the top would change accordingly to fit the description of the selected item).

Pressing "confirm" on any item shown in the right column shouldn't do anything.

Pressing "confirm" on any pack shown in the left column should prompt the player with a message "Choose this item pack?" for a Yes/No confirmation.

Selecting "Yes" would close the entire menu and give the player the items contained in the pack he or she chose.

Every time this menu is brought up, it should be possible to change the packs available for choosing (name, description, and the items they contain), so they won't be the same every time.

Thank you very much for your help!

This seems simple but more details are needed? Typically when we see a menu request they have a picture associated with it.

Here are some pictures of what I have in mind. I hope they help.

1.) Here's a basic look of what the menu should look like.

2.) You can press right to review each item the pack contains individually. I don't think it matters whether pressing the "Confirm" button over an item brings up the "Choose this item pack?" prompt or does nothing.

3.) Pressing the "Confirm" button while any item pack is selected will bring up the "Choose this item pack?" prompt.

RMMV
It could be done without a plugin, albeit not exactly as you want it.

  • Call "Show Choice" with a "Show Picture". The choices lists all kits available, the picture describe the kit contents in general.
  • When a choice is selected, call "Show Choice" and "Show Picture" again, but this time the picture showing details of the kit contents and the choice options being [Y/N].

On a side note, taking your examples, I really like the way you're going and what you're aiming for...
