Hey! My game has actually a very simple combat system and for 90% of the time you don't even fight. But I would still prefer the battles to happen in the maps, not to move into the battle screen.
I know there's moghunter's Chrono Engine, but I've been at it for hours and can barely scratch the surface of making it work. There's a constant doubt in my head whether a few battles that I'll be having are worth the long days of setting it up. Especially since I am trying to set it up in an existing, advanced project, not based on the test project included in the engine.
Are there any simpler alternatives? It can be turn-based. I don't need the zelda-style combat included in the plugin.
Or maybe some of you know how to set the damn thing up and would be willing to help / give advice?
