Hi,

I have been meaning to ask this question and I haven't looked really far for the answer; so here is the question:

I notice that if your sprite is 2 tiles-high (96 pixels), if you use your mouse to play the game, and if you click on the "upper part" of the event, your character will not respond until you click on the "lower part" of the event. Is there any fix to this without using plugin?

Thanks for at least reading!~~

Hi! It's because no matter what the size of the sprite is, the collision/hitbox is always 48x48. A giant's hitbox is no more or less than a wine bottle's hitbox. It's a flaw in RPG maker as a whole. It's why we had the Large Sprite Box back in VXace by Shaz, or Quasi's plugins, etc. The only way to do this is without any other plugins is to split the sprite graphics and then assemble them via two different events.

Hi! Nice to see you see up here~~ :D .

Anyway, I tried splitting the sprite graphic into two, and it doesn't "really work" if one of them is pressed against wall.

Let's say I want to put the 2 tiles-high lamp close to the wall in a room map.

I split the lamp graphic into two events, the head part of the lamp, and the bottom part of the lamp.

If I click on the head part, the character will just go there. And once he/she gets to the lamp, there is nothing happened.

I will go check the quasi plugin and hopefully it would be easy to use. Don't really want to use a lot of plugins here >.<~~ Thanks for the info.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
