Hello. I have too much time on my hands, so I would be willing to test you games for you, provided you read these points:

• I will mainly be hunting for bugs, but I will also assess your story and game as a whole, and give you feedback on it.
• I will play your game for at least 30 Minutes (Even if it's excruciatingly boring), after which, I will decide to carry on playing if I like what i've seen so far.
• I will not download a game that is bigger than 1GB
• If you want, you can PM me your game link instead of posting it here. If you do so, any replies will be PMed to you.
• Any games I am sent will enter a queue, and I will play through them on a first come first served basis.
• I promise I will not leak or reveal anything about your game without permission from you first.

I look forward to seeing what kinds of games people are making!

Those two rules are a bit harsh IMO >o< Especially the 2nd one

Ok, fair enough, looking at them now.

I'll change the second one, but i'm not sure what to do with the first one

Hmm... maybe you should just say "I'll decide what and when I play. Don't rush me.".

I don't think it's particularly harsh for a rule. Especially if he's willing to do free bug testing. A decent tester can make or break a game, but if you're putting things out to a tester and it's so broken or boring that they don't want to play more than 30 minutes of it...that's actually very important information.


If someone plays 30 minutes of your 6 hour game and doesn't want to continue because it's boring, bug-testing isn't what you need. You can fix all the bugs in the game and still not get anyone to play it more than a few minutes.


If a tester came to me and said, "Yeah, LT, by fifteen minutes I was skipping all the text and missed a cue so I couldn't make it any further in the game." That tells me I really need to re-design my opening segments.


Jackus, I'll certainly keep you in mind when I need a tester next.

The Gamejolt version needs Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 for the launcher but you can override it from the Start menu.
