Hello!

I'm trying to make a chapter select for my project and would like to add this function to the title screen using a common event using the (links on underline) SRD Title Command Customiser which allows you to call common events, but for some reason binding it to the common event does not work. Here are some screenshots related to my issue:

This is the common event Screen Shot 2021-02-24 at 18.43.57.png

My common event appears in the title as a button, but does not actually work when pressed. I've tested this common event with a text box, which appears when pressed so I think it doesn't register the plugin command for whatever reason...

On the other hand, my other option was to make a map custom title screen by bypassing the title with a plugin but I would rather put it on the normal title screen because its much more customisable... The common event menu works fine there though with the exact same plugin commands. I was wondering if there were any errors that I did not notice or if its just a matter of the two plugins being incompatible.

Thank you so much in advance!!!

so far I know, game data as for plugin command (my guess) isn't read
when you arent inGame YET.

so in order to solve this issue, (even if there is chapter select plugin),
either use that, or control the chapter select INGAME.

one of the chapter select is by fenix found here (also known as LTN)
which might work.

but I cannot guarantee if it works on more save files or require 1 save file.
else control it ingame somewhere to choose 1,

otherwise I cannot help you any further, but still, it's my guess.

Ah, okay, I do understand that. I might not use this plugin after all then, especially since I just tested a simple transfer player command and it didn't work properly.. Thanks for the reply! I will switch back to my in-game map "title screen" :)

ingame titlescreen should have a a savefile activated in order
to use plugin commands, but you can try if that works outside
multiple save files, or select chapter by persist switches if that
can work for multiple switches?

how many save files do you use? 1 or multple?

I managed to get the select chapter stuff to work for the ingame titlescreen so for now I'm good on that end I think. Managed to find some plugin that helps with persistent switches :) My main problem now is trying to figure out how in the world I'm going to customise the "title" commands with images now that I'm on a map... Show choices design is unsurprisingly inflexible so I've been looking for alternatives to no avail... T_T (If you have any ideas on that pls dm me!!)

Still, thank you for trying to help me out! I guess I should close this thread now that I gave up on putting chapter select on the actual title screen

Daz3D has the weirdest number scheme for model generations...
Genesis 4 is the 4th generation and oldest currently available, Genesis 1 is the 5th generation, Genesis 2 is the 6th, 3 is the 7th.... And then it goes Genesis 8. So 4, 1, 2, 3, 8. So when looking through there store you have to remember that sometimes they'll say 6 but they mean 3, and vice versa. :kaoswt:
Would opening a topic with the tutorial be interesting?
