I don't know if I should post it here, since it is theoretically possible (depends on the engine). Apologies if I posted it on the wrong area.
With the advent of Steam (and other services) providing cloud saving, I wondered if it was useful to add a similar capability for games that are not on Steam. I have found technically a way (although I haven't found a working solution to this yet, since their documentation is hard to understand at times), but I'd like to ask:
If you could implement it, how would you achieve this and why?
(If you are wondering why I want to do this, on my childhood years I lost a lot of saves, and I did not know how to back them up, so if the computer went bust, all progress was lost. And it was at a time where Cloud Saves were a fantasy.)
