The Story
In this world humans live on floating islands that rise above a sea of mist. There, among the clouds, giant serpent-like creatures, called Leviathans, sail peacefully and are worshiped as Gods by the people. The Kingdom has flourished and technology is blooming, but at a cost: motorized airships and industries run on Oil, which comes from mines and deposits that are starting to go dry.
Here comes the rise of the Hunters, they prey on the sacred Leviathans to get the Oil that they naturally produce in their bones, and sell it to the best buyer. The Oil keeps society running and poverty is so severe that many people prefer to let this slide, even though Leviathans are getting close to extinction. The Skywatchers, a branch of the military, patrol the skies looking for Hunters to arrest, to stop them before it's too late. In the meantime, rebels groups are rising everywhere to fight against the establishment, with their ranks fueled by streams of people living in the worst conditions.
Follow the story of an Hunter, a Skywatcher, a Queen and two Orphans as they they struggle to chose what's right in these hard times.
