SECTION A: SYNOPSIS
- This story takes place in a mostly peaceful yet still dystopian world and follows the journey of a young boy who decides to work for a company named FAAFO Corp. The acronym FAAFO is not the same as the popular explicit slang phrase in America. Getting hired by FAAFO Corp. is not a difficult task, the difficulty comes from earning money and surviving your travels. A career that involves fighting and controlling monsters can be a lucrative as well as a dangerous experience. Many people seek to become champion monster tamers, yet most of them fail. The hero of the story must defy the odds and gain recognition by defeating popular and respected opponents from across the land. Despite the dystopian undertones, the story is quite comical. The protagonist starts his new career as a monster tamer and is soon confronted with the dark reality of how the desire for fame and power can influence people. He must collect and train monsters that can help him establish himself as a respected monster tamer as well as hone his skills in order to defeat criminals bent on forcing their will on others through the use of violence and deception. The hero must travel to all types of regions and dungeons to find and defeat all types of monsters and tamers. Throughout his journey, he will face countless other tamers who also desire to become a champion. All of his opponents have their own reasons for why they would like to be champions, yet they each know that there can only be one true champion. In order to defeat other hopefuls, the hero must learn the strengths and weaknesses of all the monsters of the region in order to outperform all other challengers. How the hero manages and uses his money will play a large role in how he progresses through the ranks to become the regional champion and grow in popularity. Most of the monsters in this game start out as cute small creatures and then grow into more intimidating-looking monsters with features that range from sharp claws, to sharp teeth, and large muscles.
