Color Items

How can I add color to the item names? Yanfly's Item core <Text Color:x> Is not working, what other ways are there?

You'd use something like @Eliaquim's Global Text plugin to allow escape codes in the item names.

Then you'd use the standard \C[x] notation.

As far as the Text Color notetag not working - are you sure you have independent items enabled for that item type?

This. Been using it for a good while now and it just works. Just put your \c[x] anywhere and it works. Even with gradient colors!

I tried that and it doesnt work like at all, I dont think is compatible with Yanfly's plugins, or MOGs or virtually anything

Just checked and Eli Global Text is not working

TSR is made for the YEP library, if it doesn't work show me your plugin database,
as I think your YEP plugin are NOT in the correct order at all this way as it works
perfectly correctly in my end.

do you even loaded your plugin in the database? just not the folder alone?

@Gudako Modern Algebra's Global Text Codes for MV allows you to use text codes in every scene of the game, so you can attach \c[10] to item names from the database.

Frankly, it sounds like something is wrong with your project. You're saying none of these plugins - which are established things that work - are functioning for you.

I think you should troubleshoot by posting a screenshot of your plugin manager and focus on just one and making it work instead of discarding it and asking for more help with other things.

Plugins should work.
