I've encountered the most annoying bug. When the "comman remember" option is enabled, it works as intended, your choice of items, special skills, defense options are retained. However, for some reason your choice of magic skills is not. On the next turn after using a magic skill your choice is back on standard attack. What might be the problem?

I didn't encounter that + I dont like command remember to be ON.
I have it off, as spamming doesn't really work if it has a cooldown
and you must switch anyway.

for magic is probably the reason of it's MP cost so you cannot spam
if you use 1 skill and is below it so you need a different approach or
choose a different one anyway.

I can be wrong, but no fan of command remember anyway :)

I just playtested a new project and this problem doesn't exist for me - it placed my cursor on Magic and Special as I'd left it for each actor.

You must be using a plugin that modifies this behavior, or that dynamically adjusts your battle commands or something.

Looks like it is so. The problem plugin was YEP equip battle skills and I don't really know what to do with it, because it's kind of essential plugin for me. I tried to play with it's position on the plugin list, but the only time skill command was retained is when this plugin was above all Yanfly's, which is basically meant it was disabled.

I really need the option to retain selection, as I find it very handy for many cases. Maybe there is some way after all? If I ask someone to change the plugin code, is it possible to do this at all?

The entire code for MV is in the js folder, so anything is possible. The better question for you is how complicated it is to figure out and implement such a change - that's what will determine whether someone can/will do it for you, or you need to commission a plugin extension to be written.

If no one else does anything, I'll try to poke at it later for you.

Thank you. I think that was my question, how hard it is to do so, since I've never written plugins. I'll try to look at the plugin code myself, maybe I'll get lucky and accidentally find what string to pull.:biggrin:
