Actually, I'd live this for Items/Weapons/Armour/Status effects and the like too, especially if there were an order-by-category type feature implemented with it. That way you could create your database stuff, assign them groups/categories and then reorder quickly by sorting by group.
This could be super useful when it comes to the Item/Weapon/Armour areas since it would help with the age-old issue of having to leave spaces below 'sets' of each (10 healing items + 5 spaces just in case, 3 status healing items + 3 spaces just in case, etc). Knowing at a glance what belongs to which 'group' would certainly help.
