What's New?

• Upgraded to the latest forum software.
• There are three forum skin choices! Go to the very bottom of the page and pick your poison.
  
  • RMW-LightTheme - uses the old forum colors.
  • Swift - ColorTheme1 works great if you have blue light removing glasses, giving it a dusk feel.
  • Swift-Dark is for you dark theme enthusiasts out there that had been asking for it,.
• Far better Posting features such as inline code and saving/load drafts.
• Likes can be normal likes or reactions to a post. Similar to social media features.

Fixed / Changed (General)

• Adjusted Reaction Text color notifications.
• Removed Sticky Sidebars.
• Removed Sticky Headers.
• Adjusted widgets.
• Removed hovering posts on all themes.
• Site Favicon is back.
• Removed node list hovering and popup subforums to old style.
• Added Latest threads and renamed the headers to "Latest" instead of "new"
• Reduced Latest notifications from 5 to 4 for Latest Thread and Posts.
• Removed Extra Footer.
• Watched Thread Submenu has been moved under What's New

Fixed / Changed (RMW-LightTheme)

• Light mode now has darker text.
• Adjusted text size on Light Theme.
• Link text should now standout.
• Dark Theme New Notification is adjusted.
• Discussion Lists now have alternating colors. Stickies are segregated to their own segments.

Fixed / Changed (Swift - Dark)

• Changed text to be consistent with Light Theme.
• Discussion Lists now have alternating colors. Stickies are segregated to their own segments.
• When you visit the Help page on Dark theme, you don't see the header text.

Future Plans

• Fix all three forum themes colors.
• Adjust Login and Register Bars to include text and not just icons.
• Adjust the size of Hide Sidebar Add-On.

Would it be too much to ask to have the old black text back for the light theme? This lighter grey text combined with the grey background is a bit harder to read (and even harder to read on the main forum headers).

Also, it'd be nice to not have to scroll down all the way to bottom to access all of the sidebar, but that's a minor complaint (especially considering you can just turn it off).

Finally, I don't think that gap above the navigation bar in the dark theme is intentional, considering it's not there in the light theme.

Aside from all those...it's much different from the old theme, but I can't say it doesn't look nice. All the new features are nice too. It's nothing I can't get used to.

Currently, this syntax highlight looks hideous in dark mode. Everything else are nice, even tho I prefer darker dark theme like it was before.

EDIT: also the box in the reply that is separating the signature and actual post looks like a quote.

As much as we want to, the old template does not work with the new forum software update. Updating just the colors and finding where everything is already super hard. I know it's hard for you but I really can't go any faster. I'm still tinkering and figuring out how to fix code blocks colors for example.

It'll take some getting used to but this new format isn't so bad.
Feels easier to edit posts and the Dark Theme, which isn't super dark, is pretty easy on the eyes.

Thank you for all the hard work so far, looking forward to the final version of the new forums! Taking my time to see whats new for now.

The only unfortunate side effect that I can see is that all the Links in old posts are hard to pick out. As they are the same color as normal text atm instead of Blue like last time, it isn't a problem for new stuff with the easy drop down color picker, but the old Links will be tricky on the eyes.
