Hey everyone!

So let me first start by saying that I never really thought about this problem beforehand, I'd been learning how to use RPG Maker Vx Ace quite efficiently on my own, but once again I am in need of assistance.

You see, I was trying to make a simple Conditional Branch, one that issued a warning to players that the area ahead was quite dangerous (the warning is only supposed to show up IF the players level is below the required level for that area), but would give the choice for the player to enter if they wanted to anyways.

So it's supposed to be like this.

Let's use 30 as our Required level, and PL as the Player's Level.

So if...

PL < 30

Warning: The area you're about to enter is extremely dangerous.
Would you like to proceed anyways?

Choice: Yes, No

If Yes: Transfer Player
If No: End Event Process

> Else;

PL > 30

Transfer Player without Warning.

See?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated, but please DON'T comment if you do not wish to provide assistance.

THANK YOU! 8)

Assuming were using the party leader's lvl as the requirement (Not sure how your game is setup), we would use a variable for this conditional branch.

SETUP

Create a new variable, name it whatever you want, then under "Operation", hit set. Then in the last area, the "Operand", choose "game data", hit the "..." button on the right, choose "actor" then choose "level".

Now create your conditional branch, set it to that newly created variable, then set it "less than"  30. Make sure an else case is created, and proceed with the rest.

Okay, I've grasped an understanding on what I need to do based on your much appreciated assistance, BUT I can't seem to find this "Operation" section you speak of. I go into my conditional branch, select Variable, then select 001 (which I renamed to Lvl Req), but I don't see this "Operation" section I'm supposed to use to edit what the Variable does. So this "game data" "..." "actor" and "level" stuff is beyond my reach atm. Could you help me locate all that stuff with a basic detailed explanation? xD;

The stuff in red is what you want.

Create your variable as you normally would (Control Variable), then proceed to take care of the rest of the stuff in the exact same window. I used variable 16 as an example. Any variable would do. Make sure the variable you make matches the variable you are trying to connect the actors lvl to. In my case it would be Var 16.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
