Yeah, hi.

me. again.

well, here's the thing.. I have no idea how to use conditional branches and variables.

can someone link a good site, video or something like that so I can read.. a tutorial on these things.

I wanted to make in my game, when this girl goes to the door her uncle appears from another door and I don't know how to do it.

Here how the room looks like and how it suppose to be like.
He's not visible at first but when she touchs the door he appears from the door behind him.

Variables Guide.

As for conditional branches, they are easy to understand.

You have a door, and the player cannot open it until they have a key. So the door is an event, and there's a conditional branch inside that checks if the player has the item Key in their inventory. If yes, they can open it! If not, it stays locked. A conditional branch needs a condition to be fulfilled to give a different result. Whether that be a key, or the player's level, or a point in the story - it's all up to you.

Next time though, if you want help on your events, please take a screenshot of your event - not a screenshot of your map. 99% of the time, we don't need to see what your map looks like to help you out.

We have a whole tutorial forum where you can start to learn the basics. Look at the pinned threads there, and then just work your way through.

There's also a help file that comes with the engine (F1) that walks you through all the database settings, how to create events, what all the event commands are. Conditional branches and variables will be explained in there too.

I would also suggest that once you have worked through the tutorials that you then have a look through the demo game "Crysalis". I played through it and whenever I saw something that I wanted to find out how it was done, I would open the project and check it out.  Was very helpful.

The first tutorial I ever worked my way through (and it helped me really get into making my own game) was this one: http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/1249-beginnergeneral-beginners-guide-to-rpg-maker-vx-ace/

Why don't you try my game tutorial.

It has in game pictures that will explain you everything except really advanced stuff like parallax mapping and scripting.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
