Conditions based on equipment you have equipped

I am using RPG Maker MV. I was wondering if there was a way for the game to fulfill a conditional branch based on equipment you have equipped. In my game you can shuffle between a sword, gauntlets and a rod. I have individual battlers for each weapon, however sometimes when I have a sword equipped the game uses the "rod battler". I will also show you some of the common events are supposed to change the graphic. I can successful shuffle between the weapons in battle though.

Your third block of event commands in each common event is wrong.

Why can't you just use the equipment check that already exists in the Conditional Branch? (Tab 2)

I went in and applied that change and it changes the weapon whenever I enter battle. However, now I can't change my character's weapon in battle. I tried to setup a Common Event that looks in your inventory for that weapon and equips it. It however, doesn't equip the weapon.

Do you have any suggestions on how I can achieve this weapon switching? I tried Yanfly's Change Battle Equip(http://yanfly.moe/2016/03/13/yep-83-change-battle-equip/) but it makes my Moghunter Battle Hud(https://atelierrgss.wordpress.com/rmv-battle-hud/) disappear.

how are you calling the common event? There is no trigger, so you would need to do a Common Event command or attach it to an item or skill in order to call it. You can't set it to parallel process or autorun, as those don't run during battle, unless you have a plugin to allow it.

I am calling the common events with those skills.

You mentioned I can't have a parellel process common event in battle, do you know of what skill checks in while you are in battle?

I'm not sure what you mean. You can attach a common event to a skill, and when that skill is used, the common event will be called at the end.

I'm sorry for not explaining my problem properly. I manage to get the common events to work once I put them in an action sequence. Thanks for trying to help me though.

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
