Conflict between Parallax Lock and Terrain Tags (yanfly and neon black..)

Could anyone help solve the conflict between Neon Black's Terrain Tag and Yanfly's parallax lock? Here's a video of the issue:

Basically, if i save the game on a map that has parallaxs, it will cause an issue when loading on that map!

I use both those scripts in my current project, and don't have any problem, so I think it must be a bit more than just simply having an incompatibility between them.

Because you didn't use the code thing, the script you posted is a complete jumble.  Here is the link to the thread, perhaps if you copy/paste it into your OP instead?

Is the condescension really necessary? It was clearly a mistake...

Hmm.. Thank you. I did a little bit of research and others had the same problem (on rpgmakerace forums). I'll look into it a bit more, might be something else going on. The video is odd, though, right? It doesn't work, and then it does.

Edit: No - I am positive that it's those two scripts, at the very least. If I remove Terrain Tags, it loads just fine.

I haven't looked at the video or the scripts, but if two scripts work together for somepeople and don't work together for others, then the reason is either a misconfiguration of one script, the order of the scripts, or a third script is involved.


In this case it might be a third script - have you tested if the scripts work if only those two are used in a new, clean project?

Sorry this is super old but for anyone else that might be having this issue, I resolved it by putting neon blacks terrain tags above all other scripts.
Works with yanfly parallax lock as well as hime's overlay mapping.
