Can someone explain to me how to figure out the correct wait time to use in the editor after playing a movie file? (if you're not sure what I mean, RPG Maker MV will still process your event while a movie is playing, the workaround is to use the 'wait' command to match the length of your movie file to prevent the event from continuing while it's playing)

I put in my intro cinematic which is just sightly over 1:05.
In the editor, the wait command window says each frame to wait is 1/60th of a second.

The standard for animation is 24 frames per second (which my file was rendered at). With enough trial and error I got a nearly accurate wait number (4000). But when I've tried to figure out the math myself I'm getting numbers that are way lower.

How do you convert your numbers so that you get the correct wait time? I'm not very good with numbers and this problem has been confusing me a bit.

Just because the video was rendered at 24 FPS doesn't mean the engine slows down or anything. It's still running at 60 FPS and 3900 frames is 65 seconds (1:05). Just convert every minute to 60 seconds, multiply that by however many minutes it is, add on the seconds and multiply that number by 60. That's how many frames you have to enter.

3:23 = 203 (s) * 60 = 12,180 Frames

Doesn't matter what framerate your video was rendered at. Hope that helps.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
