Is there a script that allows the player to activate something to then gain control of an NPC event wandering around? I can think of one way to do it with events, but would it lag less if I used a script versus a parallel event that is checking multiple triggers at any time? 

I would like to trigger something that turns the character in to a transparent figure that can only walk a short distance while leaving the original form of the player in one spot, (which you can also return to by action button), and if an NPC is in the walkable area, you can gain control of said NPC by action button. Either for a set time, or until the NPC dies.

I found a few "summoning" scripts, but no "mind control". any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
