Hey guys,

I was wondering if in vanilla there is an oppurtunity to make a controls screen that tells you the controls, and in order to confirm this you need to press the interact button that is listed.

If not, could someone link me to a script?

Thanks.

scripting is a vanilla option...

anyways, there is no non-script option for this... I believe Tsukihime has a script that allows you to play a map before the title screen.. you can use that... just make the map, create an event that will display the controls etc... and set the script to use it... just look at the masterscript list... :)

Hello there! I wrote this for you. Paste it in a new slot above Main. It will display a picture of your choice until the player presses the desired button, and will do so before the title screen.

Remember to put your picture inside Graphics/Pictures with the same name that you define in this script (image_name = 'image name'), for reference about the different symbols for each key, check the input module section in the help file.

# Put the name of your image found in Graphics/Pictures.image_name = 'image name'# Put the symbol of the action key, for more reference check the help file.action_key = :CGraphics.freezesprite = Sprite.newsprite.bitmap = Cache.picture(image_name)Graphics.transition(22)loop {Graphics.updateInput.updateif Input.trigger?(action_key) Graphics.freeze sprite.bitmap.dispose sprite.dispose sprite = nil Graphics.transition(22) breakend}Cheers.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
