So, let's say I have a song in OGG format that I want to convert to M4A using FFMPEG. I can use a program called Kid3 to copy the looping info from the OGG file to the M4A file. The problem is, when I do that it appears the song's loop points are premature, suggesting that FFMPEG probably upped the number of samples. So, my question is, when using FFMPEG what settings should I use so that it is compatible with RPG Maker MV? In case you need to know, you can read about FFMPEG here: https://ffmpeg.org/

It seems the link isn't working for me, but if it's down I'm pretty sure you can find information about FFMPEG with a quick Google search.

I have heard iTunes can be used, but I prefer to do things using command line tools.

I dunno, it seems like doing it the hard way, which is never a guarantee of better results. I suggest using fre:ac. The MP4 conversion is what you need, and should save as m4a, if I remember correctly. iTunes will not open .ogg files, so I'm not sure why someone would have said that can be used, or even why one would attempt to use it as a converter.

That would probably work too.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
time for a new avatar :)
