Could anyone give me advice about someone posting my game?

Hi Everyone,

Basically I've been posting and updating my game Titans of Illumia since around November here on the forums and rpgmaker.net. I still have access to everything but another site who I've given no permission to has posted my game to their site with a bunch of ads and redirects.
I know this generally happens with any content but it just feels kinda discouraging and I was wondering if there were even any options? Is plagarism a thing with rpg maker games? I assume owning MV allows me to have some ownership over how we assemble the assets right?

Issue them a takedown notice. Nobody has the right to post your game anywhere, except you.

you can contact that site and demand it to be taken down due to copyright violation, and if the admins of that site do not comply you can send the same to their hoster company.

Thanks for the quick response. I'll have to look into take-down notices. Is there a surefire way to prove it's my content for copyright purposes?

Edit: Didn't realise it was that was easy to file a DMCA, thanks for the help.

The only way they can have permission to post Titans into their website is if YOU gave them the permission to do so. Since you didn't, it is considered plagiarism and you have the right to issue them a takedown notice.
