Counter animations seem weird.

Hey folks having a bit of an issue. I want to create a character whose basic attack is a bit special. And it works fine. Special animation plays and the character is a bit of a counter master. I've confirmed that the counter does indeed use the attack skill. But for some strange reason it overwrites the animation of the skill. And not even with a default animation. This could be something buried in my plugin settings. But I'd like to pick peoples brains and see if there's some other way to set the animation of a counter attack.

May I suggest that you share a list of your plugins, and some screenshots of how the counter attack works? Could you also share your spritesheet?

Short answer - it absolutely has to be a plugin. By default, counter is simply using the Attack skill back at the attacker, so it will look identical to every other time that battler uses Attack.

I'm guessing either a plugin setting, or something has redefined Attack for that character.

I've made a big emphasis on visually representing things to make the game as accessible as possible.

Grimoires will consist of 5 - 10 pages of skills (still finalizing that max number)

Since each actor is able to take multiple actions per turn, each skill will cost 1-5 pages
This prevents more powerful skills from being uber spammed during an actors turn.
Cats are so easy. I noticed the gray one would never nap in the office while I worked, so I put a blanket on the spare chair in here and now she won't leave.
