Counterskill replace script doesn't work

Hi!
I've been using this one: http://pastebin.com/raw/nngAvumw
On my character I've used the notetag <counterskill 40> even tried <counterskill: 40>
But it doesn't work. It just calls the skillname of skill 40, but somehow proceeds to attack by using the skill in #3.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong.. Anyone can help me out?

According to the regexp, <counterskill 40> would be a correct note tag.


A little testing revealed that Actors and States do work as intended when tagged. Classes do not.

I don't understand why it doesn't work for me. Not even on a clean project with only Yanfly Battle Engine and Yanfly Core.
I have it set to the actors, not the classes.

Even with Yanfly's Core and Battle Engine it worked the same for me. We're going to need to see your setup before we can help you.


Also, have you tried Victor's  Counter Options script? It's a lot more flexible than the one that you're using.

I tried that one as well. For some reason that one worked even less satisfactory because in some cases it didn't even deal damage. As for my setup, I'm running a truckload of Yanfly scripts and Luna Engine and LE is a lot of scripts, I think I range in 80+ easily..

I just tried it with Core engine, Battle engine and Battle Symphony (with and without the holder addon) and again it didn't work, they countered but not with the skill I told the script to counter with. So I think there must be something up with thoe scripts, maybe there's a setting wrong somewhere??

Edit: It only works without Battle Symphony, but then they STILL do not call on skill 40, they use autoattack, even though my characters "know" skill 40. It also does not even deal damage.

Edit2: I even deleted everything yanfly and just went for Victor's script (the basic module + counter attack) and it does not work. Wrong skills, no damage done at all.

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
