CrayDragon's Underwater Effect Mapping Tutorial

    Here's a weird one (on VX Ace).
    I've got this set up on a map with an auto run text event. While the autorun event is running, the parallel processes run perfectly fine.
    As soon as the autorun event ends (or if the event is absent) the events kind of judder. The graphics are all there, the animations just don't work properly.

    Pls can anyone help me am not getting this right i don't know what am doing wrong I've been trying to get this right but it's not working pls can someone just send me a video or something to show me how to do it

    @zerrious524 I think it is unlikely that someone will have the time to make a video just for you. Please post what you have tried which didn't work, together with screenshots of your events/script calls so that people can help you to identify what error you have made.

    This seems to be a popular topic/something people are in need of (myself included). I am going to do some research and see if there are any alternative solutions or if I can make something myself. CanĀ“t promise miracles though as I am not an expert scripter by any means.

    @zerrious524 You were just told to not double post and then you triple posted. hhmmm

    You are not doing the setup correctly at all. Almost like you didn't read the instructions at all.
    That being said I found that there was a glitch if I used parallel event instead of an autorun for one portion.

    This is how I set it up according to the instructions. It seems to work, but I also do not understand the variables.
    I did not see anywhere in the instructions on setting the variables to anything.
    Player screen x is not gathering any data, so I don't see why it it is needed.

    My test without those variables seems to still work.
    I only have one common event that is on a parallel event for a totally different function.

    I also have an event to stop the effects if you were to leave the 'water'.
