I've created an entire battle system, of sorts. The event system (coupled with switches and variables, obviously) is really quite powerful.

Probably a bit on the extreme side -- and probably not really what you are looking for -- but a long while back I started to re-write the base code to create a text-based adventure game. I wanted to maintain the ability to use the editor, so I used common events as 'rooms' as well as to hold some information on character responses, items, weapons, and so on.

I used common events for a Monk character. He could go into different stances. Each stance gave him access to different skills and gave him different buffs. Each stance restricted use of skills to only skills that are gained with said stance.

a whole dialogue manager, that takes inputs from non-existent events, which are created dynamically from another common event.

that was like taking a shot, in a dark room, blindfolded, with a toy gun, to a bullseye beyond a leap of faith, at the end of a plank, held together by duct tape and a wish.

I wasn't asking for common events. I was just starting a discussion about common events. There's no "Support" needed, sense i already have my common events planned out

Anyway. Some common events iv'e done in my game are a hunger system, a thirst system, an exhaustion system, items that wash up on the beach, and am planning a stat level up system to open up new areas. (Like if your strength was below a certain point, you couldn't push a boulder blocking a path out of the way, and if your dexterity was below a certain point, you couldn't climb a gigantic tree)

@Oddball The 'Support' bit in the message was a mistake in the macro. I moved this to General Discussion because a common event is not a mechanism.

Back before I forced myself to learn how to use Window_Base-derivatives and was something of a novice/intermediate RMMV/JS coder, I made a slot machine system for my current project's casino. It's actually an absurdly-gross hybrid of javascript and common eventing that frankly I'm ashamed of having made, but it works for my current game, so I'm not going to bother updating it.

It supports a varying number of slots in the row, various "win" patterns including wildcards, and a varying number of whichever icons from the icon sheet I want to use.

    nonsense.
makeshift contraptions with exposed wires and unfinished structures are the best.
    they speak of "brainstorming"

I made a dice gambling game (you bet on what side it lands on, that side may also be randomly selected as a lucky side), a mutation system, and a drug addiction system. I have no idea how the addiction systems works though since I had to get someone's help to make it.

I managed to create a fusion system similar to Dragon Ball. It takes both parties stats and adds 5% into the fused warrior.

I recently found out a Method to summon a Wolf Pet in Battle, But only under one a condition - You have managed to complete a Full Combination of matching Armor Sets (Which made up a Wolf Pelt Costume), Something like a "Hidden Mechanics" that you wouldn't have otherwise guessed.

Watching a sudden Howling sound and a Wolf jump out of nowhere to attack the enemy only when you wear a Certain Combination of Armor in Battle, was fun to event !
