The important thing is that you get better! So don't worry about rushing
Sorry to hear that you're sick.
Take care of your health. Those pesky tiles can wait.
Hope you get well soon!
Hope you get well soon
My health is kinda better but kinda not; had a very busy day at work and it knocked me back quite a bit.
So I decided to release what I've done until now right away, rest for a while and then continue working on the next things.
Hope you like~<3
All the goodies:
The autumn outdoor tilesets:
Edit: forgot the music, haha...
Thanks! They are beautiful!
Hope you get well soon!
They look awesome! Like, amazing!
Hope you get better soon
I think, I have to map something with this! Your style looks soo lovely and I hope you do more tiles like this. Heck, you could even turn it into a store pack and I would buy it!
More dungeon stuff and monster sprites would be great!
Heh, thanks guys UwU~
So, as I inofficialy anounced, I am working on some cave stuff.
This is what I finished this evening:
and something even more inofficial °3°~
Also, I like the battler
There is really not much I can say I have not before. It's great and I await with anticipation ;-;
One day I'm gonna make a game with these, mark my words.
*ahem* Anyway awesome nice resources is all I think of to say.
Aww, this looks great. I think, I would use an Action Battle System with a Retro Set like this, you know, more like Zelda, but nontheless, the battler looks nice
I love the stones on the ground in the cave! But why has this poor guy no exit out of the cave?
The bats are obviously keeping this guy as a pet
Lovely resources, Crazy Leen! Out of curiosity, is curved walls hard to do, or is this something not characteristic in retro? I've never played Zelda or any of the old school games, so...
I was just wondering, do you plan on making stairs or a ladder so one can go on top of the cliffs?
Well I personally would say that it is characteristic. Might be wrong but fer me that's a bit what it feels like. In SNES it might have already changed but still...
I still can add in round stuff later if needed and wantad °3°~
NO! THEY WILL FOREVER BE AT THE BOTTOM AND NEVER GET UP!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
(sure, those things will all come at one point~)
So, some more additions to caves. Somehow that little template guy got pass cave-control and brought a rope with him to climb stuff.
...a lot of rope... actually he got really bored down there, as there still is no exit and a hole in the ground didn't seem like a logical way
for an exit to him. So he made a lot of stuff to climb on in the meantime. He also made a new friend : D
Also I wanna... er... announce? Warn? I dunno, jsut tell you that I will change the charset-sizes.
While I wanted to use the fixed 16pix as much as possible, for charsets like the farmer (which already is updated now~), it's a lot
more convenient to have a few more pixels to work with when it comes to hats and such. The main char is 16 pix anyway, so at least I still stay kinda true to it x'3
I will have to edit the existing parts, which is a pain in the neck, but well...
I'm sorry that I'm changing it up now; some of you probably had everything already saved...
But afterwards, that size will stay, I promise x'3
Also: What else would you like to see to be done this month?
I thought I just do random, needed, stuff this month and next month will be all about winter :3
So, you got any wished? Ideas? Tell me <3 Else I'll just do whatever I want : D
Enought rambling! Time for the real stuff <3
The new farmer
<( "OMG I can see again!" )
I also made a little support banner~
In the end, my retro pack is what I'm working on the most~
I'll post it into the starting post next time, with the code and such~
I'm excited for whatever you make! Perhaps you could make more monster sprites and item icons eventually? I'm curious to see if you can make curved cave and cliff walls, but whatever takes your fancy!
Thank you for the ladders and ropes, and that farmer looks good.
Dat spider has a shiny butt. I approve. (everything else also rocks but you know, that goes without saying).
Gah... quit amazing me!
Here are some ideas on what to make:
tiles to turn caves into mines (maybe even have mineral nodes to go with the icons)
more town/farm village/city stuff
status effect icons (dark and light elements are missing)
custom shadows to use with the tiles (regular rpg maker shadows look terrible with the tiles)
more of those awesome battlers
maybe try to make some simple pixel animations for battle (none exist for rpg maker)
Although, anything you make will be awesome.
The cave looks better and better! But give this poor guy an exit and maybe some clothing?
What I would want to see the most, would be monster sprites. Spider is a good start, what else? Rats, Skeletons and Orcs (maybe in two recolors/variants?) would be on top of my list.
And as I already said, stairs for the cliffs would be very useful. It would also be great, if you could make a pitched roof version for all the roofs, not only the thatched roof.
Oh, and the outside entrance to caves/dungeons. I also noticed that the other dungeon tiles you made have no exit? At least the existing doors don't fit that well with this blue-darkish dungeon/temple.
