Create a Switch for the Whole-Game

Hello guys!


I have a request, but I doubt it is possible with RPG Maker. The point is to create a ''Global-Switch''. Let me explain it : if in your Save 1 (or any other save) you activated the Switch... let's say, #78, it would trigger another Switch, let's say, the Switch #120.


This switch would trigger something for the entire game. Like, unlock an option at the menu of all other games : ''Secret Chapter''. And the switch would be unlocked forever by then.


I don't know if I am clear, but please tell me if it is possible!

Take a look through the script master list or the RGSS3 (VX Ace) Scripts forum, as several of these scripts have already been made.  Look for 'global switches' or 'global data' or similar terms.

More often it is called "persistant switch" if I remember correctly, but yes there are already several scripts for this - sometimes done by saving the switches in savefile#1, sometimes done by saving them in the ini-file of the game.
