Create a tresure chest that will reset...

So I have a question, i cant believe I cant figure it out. I want to make a treasure chest that when you leave the dungeon it will pop out again and you can get the contents of the chest again. I try to do it but either the chest is empty or if I use erase event it will not spawn again. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

The default treasure chest event turns Self Switch A on for the treasure chest to permanently change its graphic to an open chest. Just remove the Self Switch A activation and the event page that is connected to it and Erase Event should work just fine.

Maybe show us the code in your Event..? I have numerous such Events (Chests and more...), and I use Erase Event; every time we access the Map, those Chests are there, and give stuff, so I know that it works. Do you have any plug-ins that could perturb this simple functionality..?

You could do it with variables, so that when you open the chest it goes to 1 and when you leave the dungeon it resets back 0 by parallel process.


Also, like @Dad3353 said, just post a few pics of what you've done so far, so we can work out something together.

It SHOULD respawn when you use erase event, unless you also use self switches.


Anyway, this is not a deployment issue, it's a support issue.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
