create unique targeting properties for certain weapon types?

    (rmvxa 1.0) is there a way to give weapon types a property that makes them target groups of the same kind of enemy/ all enemies? (like whips and boomerangs in dragon quest), i know next to nothing about scripting but i assume it might be needed...

    i guess it would be similar to the "scope" option of spells, where weapons of a certain type target all enemies. for now i'd say i'd at least like to get that figured out

    I believe so. Can you use switches in there? It's been so long since I've used Ace.

    By default all weapons use the attack from skill 1. If you want to change that you will need a script to let you change the skill used when you attack with that weapon.
