Well it would add 20 percent to the stat. My problem was that the equipment and the weaponry all had a 20 10 or 30 percent so that would take the attack down. For example lets pretend the base attack is 100. If the first multiplier is 20% then the attack becomes 20, next multiplier is times 30% the attack becomes 6, and then the final multiplier at 10% would drop the attack to less then a percent. For arguments sake we will make the attack one percent at this phase. Attacking any enemies with defense more than zero would result in an attack that would cause no damage. Exactly as my battle tests were saying. Now for the other end of the spectrum. Again using attack base as 100 and the same multipliers. First multiplier of 120% would make the attack 120, then combined with the second 130% would increase it to 156, and lastly the final multiplier now being 110% would make the attack 171.6 and rounding it out would give us a base attack power of 178. I was throwing myself off with basic mathematics and using them backwards.
